Rod Davies

Dr Rod Davies is author of Coproduction in the Recording Studio: Perspectives from the Vocal Booth. He is a lecturer at Monash University, Melbourne, where he has developed an innovative curriculum on collaboration in production.

Paul Thompson

Dr Paul Thompson is a Reader at Leeds Beckett university and is an expert in creative practices in the recording studio. His book Creativity in the Recording Studio: Alternative Takes includes collaborative practices explored through creative theories by Csikszentmihalyi  and others.

Eddie Dobson

Dr Eddie Dobson, Huddersfield University, worked with Alix and Wilsmore on one of the key studies in collaboration in the Arts in Higher Education in the UK in the last 2 decades. Eddie is commitment to supporting women, girls and non-binary people, in particular through her work as a co-director of the Yorkshire Sound Women Network

Veronka John Steiner

Renowned internationally as one of the pioneering and most influential interpreters of the work of groundbreaking developmental psychologist Lev Vygotsky. She won the William James Award from the American Psychological Association for her first book, “Notebooks of the Mind.” Her second book, “Creative Collaboration,” showed that creativity grows out of human interaction, not merely from the isolated individual genius. Among her other books were “Creative Collaboration” and “Loving and Hating Mathematics,” which she co-authored with her partner and long-time collaborator, the mathematician Reuben Hersh.

Martin Koszolko

Dr Martin K. Koszolko, Newcastle University (Australia), is an expert in remote music collaboration. He is an award winning music producer who has been creating music for over 2 decades. Martin has been using a broad range of collaborative solutions for music making since 2012. In 2017, he received a doctorate in Remote Music Collaboration. Using specialised collaborative platforms, he co-wrote and produced multiple singles, EPs and albums as well as performed live over the Internet with international remote collaborators. Martin also runs the School of Music Collaboration and   Philosophy of Sound website
