Borges' story of the Library of Babel is realised in this website by Jonathan Basile. Whatever text you choose to input,  you will find that is already exists in the library. And for our purpose, that also includes every song lyric ever written, or that will ever be written. Like Riehl's 'All The Music' melodies and Toast's 'Beethoven 5' project, this is a systematic generation, in this case of all the words, and does not make artistic judgements on the quality of each 'book'. Basile offers up the possibility of creatives using it as a tool to find material, as he writes:

"Every possible permutation of letters is accessible at this very moment in one of the library's books,

only awaiting its discovery."
